University of Liege (Belgium)

Construction Mechanics

ME

The program called European Master in Mechanics of Constructions (EMMC) lasted from 1995 to 2008, which carried out 12 annual enrollments and produced 192 graduates. This program was sponsored by The Federal Government of Belgium and The University of Liege which was in charge of conferring the degrees. The whole program was conducted in HCMUT with the participation of academic staff from The University of Liege and HCMUT. Outstanding graduates did continue their further studies in The University of Liege and other institutions.
USQ-HCMUT Programme

University of Southern Queensland, Australia

Engineering

MEng

PhD

The program started in 2003 concentrating in Engineering in general with the collaboration from The University of Southern Queensland, Australia (USQ). The mode of the program was 2 plus 2, meaning that the students would spend 2 years in HCMUT and the next 2 years in USQ to finish their degrees conferred by USQ. For many reasons, the program produced only one PhD graduate. The program lasted 5 years.
HCMUT-TUT Programme

Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan

Engineering

MEng

The program started in 2006 and the disciplines were Engineering in general for master level. The partner, who confers the degrees, was Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan (TUT). The students would spend 1 year in HCMUT and the remaining time (12-15 months) in TUT. 4 students were awarded by the program. The program lasted 5 years.
